Plush Piggyback Costumes

High-quality piggyback costumes feature a figure or character made of soft plush, filled with foam or wadding. The Carry Me costume thus creates a realistic-looking 3D effect, making it seem as if you are being carried by a figure. Plush ride-on costumes are of much higher quality than their inflatable counterparts, but they have the disadvantage that they cannot be folded up as small.

Inflatable Piggyback Costumes

Affordable Carry Me costumes and piggyback costumes are made of a polyester fabric, similar to parachute silk. This holds the incoming air, which is generated by a small, battery-operated fan. The air flowing into the Carry Me costume causes the Carry Me costume to puff up. Once inflated, these air-filled piggyback costumes are a funny party gag. Due to their lightness, gigantic sizes can be depicted, unlike plush piggyback costumes. A giant dinosaur or a 2.50-meter-tall King Kong is only possible as an inflatable piggyback costume. As a plush costume, this would be far too heavy.
After wearing, the air is let out of the costume and it is folded up to a minimum. Conveniently, it can thus be stored in the smallest space. A disadvantage of air-filled piggyback costumes is that due to the constant draft, it quickly gets cold, and if a nasty jester burns a hole in your costume, then your air-filled Carry Me costume will quickly be out of action.
