Create Rough 3-d Special Make-up Effects with the Gelatine Gel
Have you always wanted to create the kind of extreme special effects you see in horror films? Then the 3D gelatine gel blood red is the perfect tool for you. The 3D gel can be used to create extremely realistic special effects such as burns, abrasions, scars or bullet holes. The gel can also be used as a skin adhesive for latex applications.Place the 3-D gelatine gel blood red with the bottle in a water bath with a maximum of 70 degrees / 158 Fahrenheit hot water (no hotter) and wait until the gel has become viscous. Allow to cool to a comfortable temperature and keep checking the temperature so that you do not burn yourself during further processing. The 3-D gelatine gel can be used straight from the bottle once it has cooled down. To do this, first drip the liquefied gel onto a plate or hard surface.
The 3-D gel can now be applied to the skin in layers using a finger, brush or make-up spatula. Once the gelatine gel has dried, it can be torn or cut open to simulate cuts or lacerations. Stubble sponges, cosmetic brushes and cotton buds are suitable for adding texture to the still soft gel.
Once dry, the make-up gel can be perfected with any conventional make-up and film blood. Tip: Dip your fingers in warm water to conceal transitions cleanly! Afterwards, the 3-D gelatine gel can simply be peeled off and the rest removed with warm water and soap.
