Charleston Dress Black
the Roaring Twenties: the Glorious Days of Flappers, Jazz and Charleston
The Charleston was the fashion dance of the 1920s. Physically it was rather challenging. The flappers who danced the night away listening to jazz and drinking whiskey wore dresses that would allow to do the moves of the Charleston. Arms and legs had to be moved easily so the dresses were only knee length, mostly sleeveless and not too tight. Lots of fringe trimmings moved with the body and added and extra cheeky touch to 1920s outfits.
The black Charleston Dress is asymmetrically cut. The right shoulder features feathers and cloth tatters, while the left one is a shoulder strap made of transparent fabric with silver sequins. It comes with an attached neckscarf made of transparent black fabric. The neckscarf features a feather and fringe trim. The asymmetric neckline and hemline of the dress feature a silver and black fringe trim. The gorgeous flapper costume set also includes a black velvet headdress with feather detail. To add the finishing touches to your look, you need a Feather Boa White Black, the 20s Handbag With Fringes and a Extendable Cigarette Holder.
